What Should You Be Watching with Your Limited Time?

MOST OF US HAVE LIMITED TIME TO VIEW AND READ THE EVIDENCE THAT IS FREE AND READILY AVAILABLE.  This is a guide to some of the best information available in documentaries and TV programming on the subject of Global Warming and Climate Change.

NEW ADDITION - SEPTEMBER 2015

COWSPIRACY the film that environmental organizations don't want you to see!

THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU CAN POSSIBLY WATCH - AVAILABLE WITH NETFLIX SUBSCRIPTION or for 5 bucks at the link above.  If there was ever a film worth the 5 bucks this one is it.

First on Television this year:  YEARS OF LIVING DANGEROUSLY

YEARS OF LIVING DANGEROUSLY is the best program available to inform you on the breadth and depth of the problems posed by Climate Change:
You can watch the Premier first episode for free online now without a subscription to Showtime

Hopefully you will find it worthwhile to add Showtime to your list for at least one month for $10 and you can watch all 8 Episodes in that month and then cancel Showtime..

COSMOS - A Spacetime Odyssey  with Neil deGrasse Tyson - went against the FOX dedication to climate change deniers on FOX.

Mother Jones Article on the COSMOS Climate Change Episode

So now Cosmos has really done it.The show had already enraged climate deniers by explaining just how big a problem global warming is. On the latest episode, entitled "The Immortals," host Neil deGrasse Tyson explores a grandiose theme if ever there was one: What it would take for our species to get off-world, as well as whether we'll ever be able to successfully contact alien life.  Immortality, according to the show, are threatened by factors that can disrupt the stability and the longevity of human civilization—and that includes human-caused climate change.

HBO has VICE - the HBO contribution to Climate Change programming:

Episode 8 Segment 2: The World is Sinking  is available for free viewing online
The global sea level rose by 22 cms in the past 100 years—and is expected to rise even faster in the years to come. Naysayers who insist that global warming is just a mirage can look no further than Venice, where the famous St. Mark's Square is underwater a third of the year, or the Maldives, the island nation which is in jeopardy of sinking into the Indian Ocean. Shane Smith travels from Europe to the Maldives to New York (site of massive flooding caused by Hurricane Sandy) to measure what we might expect if climate change and rising sea levels continue unabated.

Episode 2 Season 2 Debrief GREENLAND IS MELTING can be seen right here.

As you watch Climate Change related videos on You Tube you are always left with a window of several choices. Some of those choices are excellent like this one:

EARTH UNDER WATER

You could find yourself lost in hours of video evidence of the effects of Climate Change. The fact that all of this is available for free on your computer should give you pause. This isn't something people are making money doing if there is no charge for viewing the obviously costly videos.

If you search for "BEST CLIMATE CHANGE DOCUMETARIES" on GOOGLE  you get lists like this one.
